PLATO, NOVEMBER 2010

ONE OF THE REALLY INTERESTING PROJECTS I DID THIS PAST YEAR WAS TO BUILD A GIANT ORIGAMI CRANE EIGHT FEET TALL AND TEN FEET WIDE. WE MOUNTED IT ON THE TACOMA ART MUSEUM TO PROMOTE THEIR EXHIBITION OF JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINTS. i GUESS I HAD ORIGAMI ON THE BRAIN BECAUSE THE IMAGE REAPEARRED HERE AS A PSUEDO-TANGRAM CUT FROM PLYWOOD PARED WITH THE FAMOUS WORDS OF PLATO. I'M PRETTY SURE HE WAS FROM TACOMA.
